  • ½ teaspoon of vitamin E oil
  • One to three drops of lavender essential oil
  • One cup of virgin, cold-pressed coconut oil


  • Melt the coconut oil
  • Put other ingredients and melted coconut oil in a mixing bowl
  • Mix them well until blended
  • Pour the mixture into a mason jar
  • Apply the mixture to your slightly damp skin

You can store the mixture for future use in a dry and cool place. Remember to apply the mixture to your extra dry spots. 


Hydrating Face mask

If your face feels dry too often, you can surely use a soothing and hydrating coconut oil face mask. 


  • One tablespoon of yoghurt
  • One tablespoon of honey
  • One tablespoon of coconut oil


  • Melt the coconut oil
  • Put all the ingredients in a bowl
  • Mix them well until blended
  • Apply the mixture to your face evenly
  • Let it sit for 10-15 minutes
  • Rinse it off 
  • You can use a natural moisturiser after using this face mask

This mask lessens the redness on the skin from itching and gives a calming sensation. The combination of yoghurt and coconut oil is extremely hydrating and makes it one of the best natural remedies for dry and itchy skin.

You can do a patch test with honey to see if you have an allergic reaction to it. Don’t use this mask if you are allergic to honey.
